"My log home leaks, I feel air from the corners or butt joints, I have electrical wiring that is exposed, there are large cracks between my logs, etc.".  This is not the result of a poorly manufactured log, it is the lack of having an experienced builder.  As much as building a log and timber home is stacking one log onto another, it isn't.  There are certain characteristics in log homes that, if not constructed correctly, will not work properly and will definitely show.  You should not pay thousands of dollars for the improper construction of your Log or Timber home, just to realize in the end, "This isn't my dream."
